27/1/17 Danny Boyle's sequel to his now cult classic 1996 film is a movie about nostalgia than drugs, with Renton and the boys back together again. Still, with plenty to enjoy, this is more a character development piece than the drug-fuelled journey before. Scary fun.

23/1/17 Biopic about the events after the assassination of Kennedy from Jackie Kennedy's point of view. An extraordinary tale brilliantly brought to life by an incredible central performance from Natalie Portman. A terrific drama told with respect.

23/1/17 A better than most teen slasher horror that tries to put a different spin on the genre, even if it doesn't quite succeed. The "killer" is pretty obvious but with some decent camera work and interesting takes on teenage life, this kept my interest. Satisfying for horror fans looking for a neat twist on a well-worn road.

22/1/17 The return of Vin Deisel to a series that has already died on its feet cannot be saved, with this noisy, preposterously dull and boring entry that offer very little in anything original, apart from giving the viewer a headache from the fast cuts and whirlwind camera work. Really terrible.

15/1/17 One of those films that offers very little when it comes to the title but is, in fact, a little gem of a comedy. Two dim-witted Irish boys head off to find a stash of cocaine that has fallen off a boat, going on a bizarre road trip on stolen bike. A cross between Trainspotting, The Inbetweeners and Ealing comedies.
